Preventing Wrinkles One Face Mask At A Time!

Hello Lovely!

Last week I talked about 8 Tips To A Better Skin Care Routine. Which brings me to something many of us don’t pay attention to until it’s too late. WRINKLES! This is something we should be taking care of BEFORE it happens, not waiting till after. It’s harder to reverse wrinkles, than it is to prevent wrinkles. So no, you aren’t too young to be using an anti wrinkle cream.

Two important things you can do to help prevent wrinkles are drinking water, and moisturizing your skin. Also like I mentioned above, making your moisturizer an anti wrinkle cream wouldn’t be a terrible idea as well.

Another thing you can do is use this Anti Aging Face Mask recipe I’ll share with you. Not only will your skin feel amazing afterwards, but the mask smells delicious too! Plus the ingredients will leave your skin with some amazing benefits.

You Will Need:

  • 1 Tbsp. Matcha Green Tea
  • 1 Tbsp. Raw Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Virgin Coconut Oil
  • Splash Of Water
  • Bowl

Benefits of Ingredients For Skin:

  • Matcha Green Tea- Anti-inflammatory (reduces irritation, redness, and swelling), antibacterial (helping to kill bacterial inflammation for smooth and toned skin), packed with Vitamin B2 and Vitamin E (plays a part in skin’s firmness, skin cell growth, and hydration), and caffeine (depuffing and brightening).
  • Raw Honey- Antibacterial (great for acne treatment and prevention), full of antioxidants (slows down aging), and extremely moisturizing and soothing.
  • Virgin Coconut OilAntibacterial (helping to kill bacterial inflammation, may help reduce acne), anti-inflammatory (reduces irritation, redness, and swelling), and moisturizing.

Step One: Mix matcha green tea, raw honey, and virgin coconut oil in bowl until smooth.

Step Two: Add a splash of water to mixture. Mix in with other ingredients. You only want a small amount. You want the mixture to be more like a paint consistency, not watery.

Step Three: Wash your face with your usual face wash, then dry. You are now ready to apply your mask. Apply to face, and avoid around eyes. (I used a brush to avoid sticky fingers) Leave on for 20-30 minutes.

While I waited obviously I had to document this beautiful mask on Snapchat haha.

Step Four: Using a wet wash cloth, wipe off mask. Once you have removed all of the mask, moisturize your face with an anti wrinkle cream.

*Use this mask 1-2 times a week to fully take in the benefits.

We may not be able to turn back time, but let’s not let our skin age us more than we are. Take care of your skin, it will show on the outside!
